Two big events took center stage in June at Interfaith House. One was Welcome Home our gala fundraising event, held this year at The Metropolitan Club; the other was our annual participation in the Hunger Walk along Chicago’s lakefront.

Our Staff

Executive Team

Jennifer Nelson-Seals MSHRM, Executive Director
Jennifer joined Interfaith House just prior to its opening in 1994. Since that time, she has held progressively responsible positions in operations management, organizational and program development, and finance. Ms. Nelson-Seals holds a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Robert Morris College.

Sarah Schroeder, Director of Development
Sarah has been active in non-profit development for seven years, beginning her career with Loyola University Chicago. She came to Interfaith House after serving as Development Director for The Poetry Center of Chicago. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social work and political science from Loyola University Chicago.

Kenyetta Jackson CPA, Finance Director
Kenyetta has more than a decade of for-profit and not-for profit financial experience. Ms. Jackson served on the staff of the Interfaith Council for the Homeless as a fiscal associate from 1994 to 1996, at which time she joined the Interfaith House staff. Ms. Jackson was named Director of Finance in 1997. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from North Central College.

Pamela Kerr MSW, Program Director
Pamela began her work at Interfaith House in 2001, as a case manager. She also served as Behavioral Health Services Manager before becoming Program Director. Pamela has more than twenty years of non-profit experience, primarily working with the homeless, children and families. She studied social work at Aurora University, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree.
